Write to us

support@rotor2fa.com

Rotor is in development, so for now this address is the only support channel. We answer in English.

What to include

  • Your device and its system version, for example an iPhone with iOS 26, or a Windows 11 laptop
  • Rotor’s version, from Settings › About
  • What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
  • The exact wording of any error message
  • A screenshot, but only after you cover every code, QR code and setup key on it

Never send these

Not to us, and not to anyone who says they are Rotor. We will never ask for them.

  • Setup keys, QR codes, or the codes Rotor shows
  • Your recovery kit, or any part of it
  • Your password, or a backup file and its password
  • Screenshots that show any of the above

Common answers

A service says my code is wrong

Codes depend on the time. Turn on automatic date and time on your device. Rotor warns you when your clock is far enough off to matter.

I got a new phone

On Apple devices, sign in with the same Apple ID with iCloud Keychain on, and your codes come back. With the free Rotor account, sign in and approve the new device from one you already use. With neither, restore an encrypted backup file or use your recovery kit.

I lost my only device

Use your recovery kit on a new device. Without a device, the kit, an iCloud copy or a backup file, nobody can recover your codes, including us; you will need each service’s own account recovery.

I’m moving from another authenticator

See how importing works. Rotor imports from Google Authenticator, Aegis, 2FAS, Bitwarden, andOTP and OTPAuth. Microsoft Authenticator and Authy don’t let you export, so add those accounts again from each service’s security settings. Keep your old app until every code works in Rotor.

I want to stop the emails

Use the link at the end of any email from Rotor. You can stop news and offers only, or all email.
